to follow FMIL, how about FSIL???

sooooo the FMIL post inspired me to vent about one of my FSIL (i will have 3, lucky me)

sooooooo when it came to planning the engagement party, my parents knew that they couldn't afford to have more than 50 or so ppl, and that that many would accommodate anyone who needs to be invited.

WELL, at FSIL3's baby shower, FSIL1 says to FH in front of my DAD 'why r u only inviting 50 ppl to ur engagement party? thats ridiculous, it should be bigger!' so that had my dad fuming (cuz seriously, is she paying for it?) but he didnt wanna start anything at the baby shower so left it alone...

THEN when i emailed her for their family's addresses, (specifying who we were inviting to the e-party) she writes me back telling me who I HAVE to invite! saying that it was her mom who said it, but when i called her mom, she said no such thing!

finally, i get the addresses in my email, and next to each person, she writes in parentheses WHICH PARTIES THEY NEED TO BE INVITED TO!!! i.e. 'Mr & Mrs so and so - invited to ALL parties'

i called FMIL and told her straight up that she needs to talk to FSIL1 cuz i will NOT deal with that for the next 16 months!!!

i wanna yell at FSIL, U ALREADY HAD UR WEDDING LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

ETA: and shes even been sending me newspaper clippings in the mail about Trunk Shows, and highlighted the part about 'buying at trunk shows can save u 10-15% on a dress!'
is she paying for the F***ing dress??????? ugh

Wow, I'm sorry. Sounds like FSIL1 is worse than my FMIL. I don't even think my FMIL would have the guts to do that.

What does FH say? Or the other FSIL's?

ya his fam is crazy, ive had CRAZY fights w/each and every FSIL, and now our relationships are better, but i try to avoid starting anything cuz they're psycho lol

but FH says he doesn't give a SH*T what any of his sisters say, its our day (so that makes me happy)

and like i said, i called FMIL the second i got the email and she told me not to even worry about her, that she'd talk to her and that she's a control freak and wants to control everything about everyone (ya think??)

so its basically under control...

im jus glad that i got it settled w/FMIL w/o any probelms, cuz i jus can't have my mother finding out cuz my moms a hot headed Sicilian and she will call up FSIL and tell her to F**K OFF LOL, cant have that now can we?!

Maybe that's what FSIL needs????

well so far so good, i haven't heard anything else from her about anything,so as long as it stays that way i will let it drop.

cuz unfortunately, although yes she does need it (esp if she startsup again) she will make it a HUGE to do b/w ALL FSIL's and my family...sooo annoying...so as long as she's quiet now, im going to avoid fighting with all of them!

s u c k s you have to deal with all of this esp when they are becomming your family!

Wow that is crazy! I would say have your FH speak to her. Maybe he can knock some sense into her. Also, if you are paying for the e-party that she has absolutely no say in who is coming! I have never heard of such a thing.

lol over the past almost 3 years, ive experienced alot of things ive never heard of w/ FSIL's!!!! lol

seriously, all i can say is if this story is appalling to all of u, i couldnt even imagine telling u what i went through with them over the years!!!!!

things have calmed down TREMENDOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
