Good luck to you on your special day. It is a difficult task in light of the tragedy to go on with your lives and feel joy. But you must. You deserve it. I hope that all of you can put the sadness aside and remember that this day is all about love and family and friends. It is a happy day and I hope a wonderful one for you all. My thoughts are with you.
Wendy, thank you for your support and good wishes. My FI and I had a long talk last night about his friend, the fireman, who is missing. He said to me that his friend, as a fireman, chose his life's journey. No, he did not choose to die, but he chose to put his life in danger in order to save others. We now have the chance to make a choice about our life's journey. This is the true beauty of this country. We are asking those who are joining us on Sunday to remember the freedoms that this country provides. We will ask our guests to celebrate and love the most important gift of all, life.

I'm going to a bridal shower tomorrow for my friend who is getting married 6 days after me, she deserves to have a beautiful bridal shower like I did and I want to be a part of her memories.
Steve and I have decided to proceed with the wedding as planned for October 7th. As difficult as it is to think about completing our plans, the thought of being his wife in 23 days is what gives me the strength to move forward with our lives.
