My friend was invited by a coworker to come to tjust he ceremony. She had limited seating for reception but did want to invite coworkers to the ceremony. Should she bring a gift? If so what is appropriate? I figured maybe you ladies would know.

I don't think a gift is necessary at all. Maybe before the wedding she may want to give her a small token gift such as a frame or vase from her registry.

I totally agree!
Maybe the coworkers could get together and collect a few dollars and get her a gift certificate to wherever she is registered, or get her a gift off the registry.

i agree...i invited my coworkers to just the ceremony.... before the wedding, they had a 'party' for me- and they gave me a gift card to the store we were registered at that they had all chipped in for.... only a couple of them came to the ceremony, and i didn't expect a gift at all.... they weren't eating the food or drniking any drinks
