To hand cancel or not???

I had mine hand canceled. I used a wax seal to seal the pocketfold, so they were lumpy. I had 3 invites returned (for wrong addresses) that HAD gone through machines and they were a mess! The hand canceled ones were pristine on arrival (the ones I saw, anyway).

For us, it was a must (due to the lumpiness).

I mailed mine from Seattle, and they would not let me do it myself, nor could they do them at the PO in front of me ('Post 9/11 rules, ma'am...'). I had to hand them in and then they were hand canceled at the postal warehouse place that regular people are not allowed to enter.
