...or not to hand stamp: that is the question. Tis smarter to not send through the machines Than suffer the ripped and torn envelopes, Or risk offending invitees. And to defy tradition: to be unconventional, to go against the norm; No more! I come to you for answers!
Ok, enough waxing of poetics (lovingly ripped off, of course), what do people think, is it really a big deal if you don't hand cancel your invites? We don't have any bows or ribbons or anything of the sort, so the envelope itself is relatively flat.
TIA!

Re: To hand stamp...
No need! I hand cancelled the first batch but not the stragglers! No difference.

Re: To hand stamp...
I sent out 127 invites - all hand cancelled - took 10 minutes. Mine wasn't able to go through the machines though, so it's best to ask your post office.

Re: To hand stamp...
What exactly is hand canceling? I'm sending out my invites in 3 weeks, and I'm guessing I should be doing this too...

My invites were pocket fold, had ribbon and crystals.. I sent one to myself and it arrived it perfect condition, so i just sent the rest out regular.

Re: To hand stamp...
I had mine hand canceled. I figure why not, it didn't cost me anything extra and they did it for me.
