To Have No Children or To Have Children .......@ the party that is....

We have contemplating our idea of no children on the invite..

Anyone having an adult only reception?
I think many OOT guests ( my aunts and uncles will be offend). however there are wayyy too many children on both sides of the family...

Man we knew we was having a no kids reception from DAY 1!! We also have a lot of children on both sides.. The only kids that will be there will be FH and mines nieces and nephews...

we have so many kids in our family so No we arent having them at the wedding we have a age cut off @ 17

only person under the age of 18 invited is FH's little sister who will be 12 when we get married and a jr. bridesmaid.

whew! i thought i was the only one...theres about $4000 worth of children when my sis and i drafted the guest list...

We have only two kids under 16 and one is in the wedding party. The other is my cousin :) no other kids invited

We are having an Adult Only reception as well with the exception of immediate family...ie nieces and nephews. I dont want to offend anyone either but its just easier!!

we are having children at the wedding (or least inviting them). I know there might be some guests that will choose not to bring their children, but I want to give them the option. I honestly think children at a wedding are the best - especially when they are tearing up the dancefloor!

I can't really afford to have kids. I have too many cousins on my side and so does my hubby. I am only have my children and my nephew. If I invited kids it would add on another 40 ppl.

No kid. in total there are 20 in both family. Only the flower girls and the ring beard..

we are inviting children within the family, but other than that we are not inviting kids. Just our personal choice...

We're just inviting the first cousins...its only like 5 on each side and its a night wedding so we have a feeling that most of the parents will make other arrangements anyway. If there were much more than that though we would probably rethink.

us too, therefore adult reception only.

NO WAY.. NO HOW.... I have 57 first cousins and about 35 of them have children... and that's just my side......

the only children invited is my FH nieces and nephews and thats already like 8.... and becuase we have to....

we have a lot of kids on FH side of the family. only his immediate family members with kids will be allowed to bring them. distant family and friends will have to leave them at home

Same! out of my first cousins I'm the oldest.. the youngest is 4. How could I say no to them? They're my family and I love them too much not to have them be part of my day.
