FH name is really hard to pronounce. I think I will hyphenate.

Re: To hyphenate or not to Hyphenate
Taking his, because it really means a lot to him.
Although I'm considering keeping mine as a kind of second middle name, just to sort of symbolize my own continuing ties to my family.
And I'll move down, but only a few spots, from G to L. although I will go from a 9 letter last name to a 4 letter last name, so that's kind of nice

I think I'm doing the same thing... keeping my last name as a 2nd middle name, and taking his last name. Moving from a C to a B

Taking his. I was going to hyphenate, but then I thought when we have kids, then their names will be really long!

Re: To hyphenate or not to Hyphenate
I'm taking his. Although my initial will stay the same. I'm going from P to P and the funny thing is that his last name it pretty similar to mine so it won't be much of a change!

Re: To hyphenate or not to Hyphenate
I am pretty sure I will hyphenate it bust just bc there is no one left in my family who is male and the name may not carry on!

You can do it however you would like. Give them only his or hyphenate it
