to invite or not to invite???

to invite or not to invite???

I would like to invite my college classmates to my wedding, although I know most (if not all) would not be able to make the trip. These are the ones that I strictly spent hours and hours studying with...not the "drinking buddies from the dorm" who are definitely invited (and aready made the reservations to come in!). This is moreso a means to further our relationship...so, I would like to extend the invite nonetheless.

I am inviting quite a few of my soroity sisters! These gals have seen me at the best of times and the worst of times Who better to share the best day of your life with then people who care!! Invite away!!

When is your wedding? Is it too late to send a "save the date" letter with a personal note letting them know how much you want them there because you regret not having forged stronger ties in the past?

I know how you feel, as the person inviting there is that fear of people questioning the invite if you haven't been in touch in awhile. However, if your motives are pure, go with your feelings and do invite them. Try thinking about it from the point of view if you were the guest (not THEM as the guest but YOU being invited to one of their weddings) and how would you feel about receiving that invite? I would most probably fall into the "A" category in that situation.

Old Westbury is also really nice. Both places have a fee for taking pictures there. If I remember correctly, I think Old Westbury is $275 or more, depending on the time that you would be coming (the later in the day the more money). I think that was for 1 1/2 hours???? You can call Westbury Gardens if you're interested and ask for Jennifer (forgot her last name, tell them you are interested in taking wedding pics there) and she will mail you the forms that you need to fill out.
