For those of you who are doing strapless bridesmaids dresses are you doing necklaces or not???
My dress is strapless and I am not doing a necklace.
Thoughts???

i didn't want my BMs to wear necklaces, so got them long dangly earrings instead.

I'm also strapless and i'm doing earrrings and bracelet. I think it depends how much detail is on the top of the dress. If it's busy with beading i'd say no necklace!

im doing strapless dresses and giving them necklaces.....you dont have to give them necklaces, but my thought is that id rather them all wear the same necklace than some have necklaces and some not and they're all different

I think the necklaces will add to the beauty of the dress if they match nicely, it will also add to your pictures

I think I'm going to have my girls wear a neacklace with their strapless dress. I think it will add to the dress since the dresses are black.

Mine is wearing a necklace and earrings - but there's no beading or anything like that to the dress - so it doesn't look like too much.

I told all my bridesmaids they can wear whatever accessories they want.I don't like when everything iis all matchy.

i think it all depends on the dress... my dress was very sparkly so i didn't have a necklace, but my bridesmaids dresses didn't have anything on the top, so the necklaces they wore looked really nice...

My bridesmaids has earrings and bracelets... no necklace for them.
If you do a necklace with a strapless dress, I wouldn't do a drop necklace - it could lay awkwardly on the dress's neckline. Maybe one that lays around the collarbone.

We let them choose. I'm not a fan of having my jewelry chosen for me to begin with. JMO!

i bought my BMs very simple necklaces on ebay. for a REALLY good price. they were just for the day...

I agree it depends on how busy the top of the dress is. If it is simple enough, I say go for a necklace w/ strapless

i got all my bm's an earrings and necklace set and they're wearing strapless dresses. i think it would look bare w/o the necklace. it's a simple necklace though - nothting crazy

My BMS are wearing strapless black dresses, so I got them a classic string of pearls that came with a pearl stud... I was going to do big hanging earrings but I love the way pearls look with simple black dresses.
