Hmmm... im trying to decide if it is worth it to preserve my bo-k or not...
i just got prices... for an 8x10 basic shadowbox it is $260 for a 9x12 it is $345
what do you girls think... is this worth it... for anyone who didnt preserve your bo-k do you regret it? for anyone who did... are you happy you did it?

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I want to do it. I like the idea of my b-ok being there forever. I wanna hang on the of my livingroom or put it n a glass table. I want my kids and grand kids to see it.

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I'm not planning on doing this. For me I just don't think it's worth it. I'd rather put that money towards photography and albums where I will be able to look at not only my bouquet, but all the other special details of my day. I've seen some preserved boqs and they're beautiful and if you're the kind of girl who saves flowers (or wishes she could) forever, it's a great idea. But for me I know I would end up being pissed that I spent that much money on preserving my boq.

I cant say it is worth it or not...but in the long run I know I will want it...and 200-300 in the whole scheme of wedding costs wont break the bank. Go for it

I didn't preserve it - but I'm not really into flowers, so it didn't matter to me. If it's important to you to preserve it, then I suggest you go for it.

I think i'm going to do this...even though my bouquet is pretty simple. Just white roses. I think it'll look really nice in the shadowbox and hanging in our home. I just think it's a personal preference

I'm not going to do it. But i'm not that into flowers. My mom is actually going to take my bo-k to the cemetary the day after the wedding and put it on my grandparent's grave.

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I love flowers, but only to the point before they wilt and die. By the end of my wedding day, they won't look the same. I would rather spend the money on the photography and video instead for preservation purposes.

I completely regret not doing this. I wish I would have thought about it sooner.

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I think they are beautiful, but I don't regret not doing one. Right now we are so (or I was)wedding crazed and its always on our minds and we want to preserve every detail of the day, but after the wedding the details become much less important and you think about it less and less. While having one would be nice, IMO - it''s just another thing to have to dust!!!

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I just put in my deposit. It's one of those things that after the wedding, i know i will be like, 'i have the money to do this, why didn't i?'
i love flowers and i can't wait to have them displayed!

Re: To Preserve or Not to Preserve...
I was going back and forth on whether or not I wanted to have the added expense, but after seeing Kimberlybrides keepsake floral there was no way I was not going to get it done.
