to register or not to register?
Re: to register or not to register?
if you like... i probably wouldnt register too much, and not include a registry card(only if people ask where)... because people will give money and if they all buy registry gifts you wont have much left for a shower.
Re: to register or not to register?
You should definately register, but not necessarily before the E party. I know that I'd rather receive $ gifts at the E party & gift-gifts for the shower. I agree about not informing E party guests about the registry if you do resister before it.
Re: to register or not to register?
we didn't have an engagement party, but we did register shortly after we were engaged. we got tons of stuff from our registry as gifts. we registered for china, stemware, and then crystal pitcher, vase, bowl, lenox frame and clock...it was mostly crystal gift items.
