So I didn't invite many college friends, actually just 2 outside of my bridal party, and one of the people is close with like everyone from college and really social and I am slightly worried she'll say something about my save the date to people who were not invited. Do I give her a call with a heads up to who is invited to avoid any awkward conversations?

I don't see why not. Simply tell her that you're trying to keep it small and that while you want *her* there, you can't afford to invite everyone from the old gang.

I would say something, I was in a similar position with a group of ex-co workers, some of who I did stay close too and others who I did not, and I knew there a a few that would be offended they weren't invited, so the three that i did invite, I just asked to keep it quiet because I didn't want to upset the rest of the group.
