So FH is adamant about not seeing me before my walk down the aisle. we are getting married at our RH so i tried to convince him to see me prior for photos. He is not going for it. After thinking about it i kinda think its sweet and would rather him see me for the first time as i walk down the aisle. i dont want to get caught up in the politics of it all. i worked the details out with the photographer to have us in cocktail hour no later than 20 minutes in...lol Yep im not missing no food...lol Anyone else not seeing there FH till the walk down??

I'm staying at my parent's house the night before and won't see FH until thay day at 3pm

Although, I would prefer not to see my FH until I walk down the aisle, it worked out to be better for pictures and our reception if we see each other beforehand.

Doing pics before the ceremony, so we will set up the reveal with the photographers and be able to capture it on film.

I always dreamed of him seeing me first time walking down the aisle. But it works out better doing the reveal before ceremony i don't want to rush ylthrough pictures. Plus everyone makeup will be perfect no crying happened yet so the pictures. Will be better

I absolutely refuse to see him before the ceremony. I'm staying at my parents, so I will not see him until my father walks me down the aisle. I'm not the most traditional person, but that was something that was very important to me.

I did not see DH before the ceremony and we got married at the RH as well. It was so special seeing him for the first time walking down the aisle....and I am glad personally that we did not do pics before. Would it have been easier...yes...but we already went in knowing and being aware we would not make it to cocktail hour and it was fine with us. If you can make it to CH even better!
If it's important to your FH then go with it...and not what everyone else may seem to be doing!

I'd prefer not to see him prior to the ceremony. I've seen some fantastically adorable pictures on pinterest where the bride & groom hold hands around a door/corner of house/etc, so there are some beforehand pics where you don't actually get to see each other. Idk about me though, I might start crying right there once he reaches around to hold my hand.
