To show or not to show?

To show or not to show?

My Fiance is asking to see my dress. I am not showing it to him, because I want it to be a surprise when he sees me walk down the aisle. Has anyone shown their dress to their fiance????

i have showed him a couple of pictures of dresses i like, but when i actually purchase i will definitely NOT tell him- JMO I want him to be surprised at least a little bit

But who knows- I am terrible at keeping secrets. I didn't vote in the poll because I have no idea what will happen wish I was better at keeping secrets!

My FH is such a manipulator! He now says to me 'but what if I dont like the dress?!' Now I want to show him just to prove to him that he will like it! Such mind games...hahahaha!

I put yes because I technically did. I was OBSESSING over this dress in a magazine and never thought it would be in my price range so I showed it to him, however he says he has no clue what it looks like when I aksed him later....men

Even though he'll see me when we take pictures before the ceremony, I want that to be the first time he sees the dress. Hopefully the photographers can snap a pic of his reaction!

I actually wanted to show him, but he doesn't want to see it, he wants it to be a surprise. He's so old fashion and romantic, i love it

I wanted to show him too, cause I wanted to make sure he likes it too But he refuses to even talk about it.. he doesn't want to see it until I'm strutting down that aisle!

I showed him the one I wanted in a pic online. But then he doesn't know that it's the one I went out and ordered. Besides, I know he doesn't remember that much detail. Seeing it on a model isn't like seeing it on me, I know I'll still get the WOW factor!! And I can't wait!!!

No!!!!!!!! First I want him to be surprised but also I'm superstitious and it's bad luck for your FH to see your gown before the wedding.

I showed FH - the dress is a different color from the picture. We are seeing each other before the ceremony anyway.

I dont think that it ruins anything showing him the dress. Its not like your going to model it for him. I think once he sees you walk down the aisle it wont compare.

Not at all, not even a picture.

No, even though he keeps begging me!!
He even wanted to go dress shopping with me and I told him that is the one thing he is not allowed to contribute to with the wedding!
I sent him the picture of the sexy bride costume I posted a few days ago, and told him that that was my dress.
I have to admit though, it has taken some willpower not to show him a pic of it.

It ruins the surprise & my goal is to have my FI cry when he sees me coming down the aisle on our wedding day.
