To tan or not to tan

To tan or not to tan

So I'm your typical Irish lady. Fair skin and tons of freckles. I usually freckle, burn and then tan. I do have epics coming up so I don't want the flash reflecting off my pasty legs. I've been trying the Jergens and I am now a beautiful shade of jaundice. I am debating going tanning but I don't want to look orange. Is it better to UV light it or misting?

I've never done the mist I've only done the UV. I'll usually go like 3 or 4 times before whatever event and I get a nice color, not orangey. HTH

I highly reccommend Beach Bum's custom airbrush tanning. I'm also typical freckly pasty white Irish. lol! I've gone twice now to do it- the first time for a friend's wedding (and kind of a trial run) and the second time for my own wedding. It looked amazing- so natural and not at all streaky or orange. It's only $35 for first time customers and it includes the moisturizer and toner spray. After that I think it's $65 including all the extras and tax, or $45 for just the spray tan. If you have any questions, please feel free to FM me!

ETA: I would not reccommend the Mystic Spray Tan or spray tan booths. With Beach Bum's airbrush tan someone sprays you by hand and it makes all the difference.

don't fake and bake! It is sooooo bad for you (plus their is the chance of you really burning)...

I agree with the above poster, look into airbrushing...I have had friends get it done and it looks really good..

my FSIL did the spray tan and it came out great on her, looked very natural and she is normally light skinned (she's irish as well).

airbrush it is! I would love to get to the beach but I haven't had much time. You would think for a coastal state (Ma), we'd have more beaches. Maybe I'll have a trail airbrush session next week and see how I like it.

Definitely go with the airbrush tanning! Ths mystic tanning booths come out great except for your hands and feet and the tanning beds are not good for you. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with the airbrush tanning!! (the custom stuff)

Airbrush please!!! Stay away from the cancer box - it's doubles/triples the threat of getting melanoma (just read the article on this last night) I'd rather you flash us those pasty legs than damage your skin <3
