What do you think? I'm thinking of trying airbrush tanning. Anyone try this yet? If so, where and would you recommend it?

airbrush tanning is beautiful but expensive, only go a shade darker than you are, i think it has the most beautiful look for weddings. I think beach bum is the place to go an i think its about forty bucks or something

Re: To tan or not to tan...
hey date twin! i was thinking of trying a spray tan too but i was thinking i wouldnt go to about end of may when summer starts that way if it looked awful i can just lay out one weekend and get some real sun to hopefully cover it up, does that make any sense? i feel like i worded that weird lol
anyway im gonna try it over the summer and if it looks natural i'll do it for the wedding but my advice is to try it months in advance in case you hate it.

I thought about doing it, but I'm so afraid of coming out orange. I'm going to go au natural and pasty. My dress is ivory, so it compliments my fair complexion.

Re: To tan or not to tan...
i did airbrush tanning for halloween and I LOVED it!!!! It came out really nice, would def do it again...its just kind of a pain the day you get sprayed..u have to be so careful for like 10 - 12 hours. they tell u not to cross your legs, don't shower, try not to wash your hands too much, don't put ur bag on your shoulder bc you can get streaks....so the day you get sprayed, make sure you have basically nothing to do

Re: To tan or not to tan...
I tried the spray tan booth at Hollywood Tans once and it was awful. I think if someone actually sprayed me with an airbrush it might turn out better. I'm just afraid of residual orange tanning stuff coming off on my wedding dress. This will truly be trial and error ... waaaaay in advance!

mine didn't really last that much after a week....they told me it would last 2 - 3 weeks, but i felt that it faded very fast
they recommended that i got sprayed the day before my party, but then again i was trying to look like snooki lol so i think you'd prob be ok with going 3 days or so in advance

Re: To tan or not to tan...
I did Beach Bum's custom airbrush tanning for my wedding. It was excellent! It looked so natural, not orangey or streaky in the least! And it was only $35.
ETA: I didn't find that the tan came off at all in the first few hours after spraying. I got sprayed in the afternoon, wore loose clothes and went home. I crossed my legs and sat and moved around and it was fine. A little came off on my clothes but came right out in the wash. I rinsed myself in the shower 6 hours later and then washed myself like I normally would in the shower in the morning. If you moisturize a lot, it'll last about 2 weeks. HTH!

Re: To tan or not to tan...
If you've never done it before... def go a few times to get the right color before you do it for the wedding.
I've tried it a few times and I never look natural.
