Just to keep you all informed, the Garden City Hotel is in contract for sale. I have a room booked there, but I also booked somewhere else in case this happened. I don't know how long it will take, and when reservations will be honored until, but I just wanted to let you all know!!
wasn't this in the papers and girls on here have been saying it for a while? but then girls would post that they would call up GCH and they would say 'OH NO its not true dont worry' meanwhile i did read it myself in the paper. Sorry you even have to do that, will they give you your money back?
It was in the paper that is up for sale--after the owner passed, I think the kids decided to put it up. I read today that it is under contract for like 91 mill. to a developer. Luckily the room has not been charged and it won't be until we (if we) use it.
