To those who have created their own Website
I am trying to make a Web site with everything about us (our house, our pets, our wedding, etc.). I signed up for a domain name through geocities... maybe I'm retarded, BUT I cannot for the life of me get any of the programs that create web pages to work. They have a link to Page Builder - but when I click on it all I get is a msg saying 'If you are not automatically taken to page builder click here' and when I click nothing happens. So after days of writing to customer support and all they have to say is that they are having some technological problems... I tried Yahoos Site Builder. I finally made 2 nice pages so far with photos and everything, but when I try to upload it it tells me I can't publish b/c I have to pay for Web hosting - didn't I BUY a domain? I'm not getting any of this and by the way I took a Web class in grad school 5 years ago... I guess things got harder instead of easier. Maybe I'm losing it. Can anyone offer me any help - I'd be greatly appreciative... I'm spending way too much time on the computer and getting so frustrated I blow up at FH (I have a horrible temper). He asked me if I wanted to go for a walk before when I was smacking the keyboard b/c the web thing would cooperate and I yelled at him. I'm begging for help on this. Thanks!![]()
