To throw or not to throw

FH and I are not getting married at a church, we are also not having a receiving line, so he thinks that we shouldn't provide bubbles or rose petals for the guests to throw towards us. But I figured they could just do it from their seats as we're walking back down the aisle...
Thoughts?

Go for it! Bubbles and pedals both look pretty in pics. we are giving bubbles to those people sitting on the asile and will make a note in the program so they know to blow them during our recessional.

we arent getting married in a church either and we are gunna do bubbles, like you said as we're walking back down the isle, no recieving line.

We're doing bubbles. It's cheap and simple and people love them.

We arent getting married at the church or having a recieving line either and we are providing sparklers for the guests to light up when we walk down the aisle
