I just want to toss my BK, I feel it is tradition.

We did both with a twist ... the person who caught the boK danced with my husband and the person who caught the garter danced with me. We got mixed reviews after the wedding. Most people thought it was a good idea beacuse everyone was able to participate, but a few of the single guys didn't like it (because they wanted to be able to put the garter on someone else).

see i'm torn on this. I'm debating whether to toss my bouquet/garter. I've been to weddings where they didn't do this and to be honest... no one noticed. I don't know. If my FH wants to do it, then we'll do it. No biggie.

We did a twist on the anniversary dance. We had the anniversary dance and then my husband took off my garter. Then with the couple married the longest we had the husband put the garter on his wife! I gave the bouquet to the wife.

I didn't do it.
Instead I did an anniversary dance. The DJ asked all married couples to dance and the longest one standing (married the longest) won the bo-k. My aunt and uncle are married 50 years and it happened to be their anniversary...it was so sweet, she was crying.

we did the anniversary dance also... my grandparents were the last ones standing so it was great. My husbabnd and i both didn't want to toss and i heard about the anniversary dance, and i loved the idea !!!

We did not do it. We presented my parents with the boo-k and garter as a thank you for all their help with our wedding.
