So, after our lovely shower today and all of the wonderful gifts, I was wondering how everyone feels about using gifts before you are married?
We are waiting until after the wedding to use our engagement and wedding gifts, as hard as it is! Anyone else? I don't know if it's tradition or what, I guess I'm just following in the foot steps of other friends.

I was thinking the same thing, I dont know if I should used them or not but we live together so I feel like we need to used some of the stuff

we used one of our engagement gifts.. but as for the shower gifts... we would prob wait only b/c it will all be in my parents attic.. lol

FH thinks that it's bad luck to use the stuff before the wedding. Little does he know that I used a pot that my grandmother gave us. He will never know... hehe.

We're waiting to use ours...FH has been dying to use the wafflemaker my sister got us, but I told him if I can control myself and not use the KitchenAid mixer...he can wait for the wafflemaker!!
