funny that you say that bc a 2010 bride posted how she meant to take it off then too, but got so caught up it just never came off

Once Ceremony is done, we will go and take Pictures. I want my Veil in them.
I will take them out after them...

ohhh good point. I'm Jewish and we actually see each other and take pics before the ceremony.

I need to decide if I want FH to see me in the veil for pics (before the ceremony) or leave the veil for when I walk down the aisle????

I think you should wear it for pics before- bc you will have so many after without it. plus, you would only have it on for the length of the ceremony if you dont wear it before. and, i think it's safer to have your hair stylist put it in for you instead of relying on a friend/BM/famly member to put it on if your hairdresser has left before your ceremony.

i thought i wanted a cathedral veil so i was planning on removing it right after the first dance. but, i actually bought an elbow length, so i play on keeping it on all night. we'll see how that goes.

That sounds about right, I'd like to do 1/2 with the veil then take it off and do the others with my headpiece (likely a beaded head band/flower).

i just ordered a two layer veil where the cathedral veil is going to be removed leaving the shorter veil after the pic and before the first dance

I'm having a cathedral veil and plan on keeping it on for at least the first half of the reception. The bridal store said they can bustle the veil.

I'd like to think I'm going to keep it on as long as possible, but by the first dance I'm sure ill probably have had enough of it. I'd like it in the first dance pics/video too :)
