To Veil or Not To Veil???

Hey Girls,
My FH and I were at a wedding tonight that ended @ 1:00 am and we just got home....it was quite far from my house by the way...hence the late night rant. Anyway...gotta be honest. I wasn't feeling the excessiveness of her veil. I was ALL about doing a veil until now. It reminded me of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' when Tula called herself a 'SnowBeast!!!' What kind of veil-age do you girls have going on??? Is it still in to do the veil thing? Just wondering....i don't want to look back on my wedding photos in 10 years and get naucious!

Help!

i think it depends on the veil...i definitely want a long cathedral length spanish veil, but i refuse to put it over my face

try one on, i just feel like it completes the look

it really depends on the length... i had a fingertip veil and kept it on the whole night... i was always planning on taking it off after the ceremony and pics but i ended up just leaving it on the whole night cause it didnt really bother me, and looking at my pictures, it completed the whole look... so i'm glad i kept it on... i think it depends what kind of veil you want

I have a elbow length with detachable cathedral length so I can wear a veil all night I won't have a blusher but I am wearing it attached in the back not top. My friend only wore flowers which was what she wanted but a veil makes me feel like a bride.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I really want something that's light. I don't want any poof at all! Just something that goes down to my fingertips and is almost see-through with a tiny bit of bling.

I plan on having a mantilla veil, but nothing covering my face. I was going to take it off at the reception, but it's going to depend on how I feel. I'tll be finger tip length so it shouldn't really be in my way.

I think it's nice to have, even if it's just for the ceremony. At least have some pics with it.

It really depends on the veil. I had a finger tip length veil with amazing embroidery that matched my gown around the edges. It was a single piece of toule.I wore it the entire night...I was almost sad to take it off! Pick something that you love- If you choose something classic then you will likely not look back in a horror in a decade.

I agree w/ the other girls - def try it on at least you may surprise yourself and like it ;)

I, personally, think I MAY wear one for the ceremony but I'm not really into the look I think I would prefer flowers or something like that!

Do whatever makes you feel amazing <3 :)

I'm having a cathedral length veil and plan on getting a bustle put in and wearing it for most of the day. I will prob take it off halfway through the reception.
