To veil or not to veil

To veil or not to veil

That is the question lol. Seriously girls I'm not a fan of veils but I'm considering wearing a nice bling out headpiece (not a tiara either gosh I hate them). What are you wearing?

I am wearing a one tiered veil and a pearl and crystal headband. Keeping the veil on for the church and for pictures but taking it off for the reception.

I was so against having a veil. I didn't get why everyone liked them so much. And then when I was buying my dress, the saleslady stuck one on my head. It was over.

When I finally bought my veil (from Barron's not the dress place because it was like $350!) I fell in love with that stupid piece of tulle. I planned on taking it off earlier in the reception but kept forgetting. I finally took it off about halfway through.

I decided to do it... my Mom LOVES the veil idea... and after looking at some, I fell in love with the mantilla style (cathedral length) ...

When else can I drape myself in all sorts of luxury!

I am switching to a feather hair piece for the reception.

Mine will look something like this..

I'm wearing the veil my mother wore for her wedding. it's a mantilla but because the lace is discolored we have to take it off and we're taking off the hat it's attached to and adding rhinestones to the flowers on the veil to compliment the flowers on my dress. we're adding the lace from the veil to my dress.

i'm excited for the end result

i actually was not going to do it but then the more i look at pictures, the more i realize that it'll complete my look. my seamstress is looking for lace that'll match my dress and she will custom make it (if it's not too expensive!)

I'm wearing a cathedral length veil, plus a blusher veil over my face to walk down the aisle, and a crystal headband

Thanks. No rule that says you have to wear one! There's plenty of beautiful brides who don't wear them. It just completed the look for me... it made me feel like a bride.

Try some on when you're dress shopping. If you don't like 'em then you don't have to wear one!

My dress is very modern that's why I'm caught in between with veils plus I really don't like them at all. My mom said I should just wear one for the ceremony but eh idk

why won't you try one on to see if you really like it or not and then decide then?

@ evilta I think that's what I will do. When I go for my 1st fitting I'll try it on with a veil.

This is my dress.

~ When you go for you fiting ..just try the veil on and see what you think...there are even head pieces that would go great with that dress...best of luck
