To wrap or not to wrap?

To wrap or not to wrap?

Ok so my favors came in today, and they are glass coasters etched with a starfish and seashell....and they come in a plastic see through box, wrapped with a white organza bow and a little tag on it that says 'For You'

now, my mom, of COURSE, thinks its perfect how it is.....

IIIIIIIIIII however, think they should be wrapped, and that there should be something on it (which I'd get the stickers or something) to designate that it is from MY wedding!!! (I couldn't customize the for you tags)

sooooooooo....

Wrap them because how they are now is a little cheesy?????

or

Leave it alone! It's got a bow, and it's one less thing to do among the hundreds...nobody will care!

ETA: TIA!!!! you all know how much opinions on here help us brides-to-be make decisions!!!

Rather than wrap them, can you just remove the tags on there and put your own favor tags?

If you dont wrap them it is one less thing you have to worry about. If you want you can get a sticker or a tag to add to it with your names

do you think that would require me to remove the ribbons????? I thought of that...but i guess ill have to play around with it and see...

cuz i do NOT want to have to tie all those ribbons up perfectly around those boxes again!!!! HAHA

but thats definitely an option!!!

That's about as far as I'd go with them. If you can't do it, no biggie. People are going to toss out the wrapping and ribbon anyway once they get home.

I think it would be nice to have something that has ur names & date on it, but no offense, i dont even think ppl will notice. I know, as a bride, you want everything to be perfect, but I just went to a wedding last week and we were one of the last ppl to leave and my friend (the bride) was forcing us to take home extra favors bc there were millions left...kinda sad bc her mom handmade all of them

Re: To wrap or not to wrap?

id take out the for you and replace it with a personalized paper with your names on it...

my gf had similar coasters for her wedding last year and we printed out papers with the bride/groom names and then put it into the top coaster slot

and just wrapped them in the same ribbon on the clear box

they came out great and it was super easy...esp if u get a few girls to help you
