To Yankees fans, a question about last night game

Oh ok, the reason Im asking is one of my co-workers totally annoyed me. She was a Met fan her whole life and she said that because a Met fan was in the stands last night and cheering everytime Boston scored she is now a Yankee fan. I told her that it doesnt work that way but she was like 'I dont care, Im a Yankee fan now' and I said 'Your the perfect example of a fair weather fan' and walked away.

Edited to say: I just went up to her and said 'I guess it doesnt matter that Met 'fan' is really a Boston fan and she was just like 'He's a Boston fan, why was he wearing a Met outfit' and I said 'Because he's been to every game since Fenway opened so he can do whatever he wants' She had no response.

I had people like that. I did not mean that he has been there is Fenway opened I meant that he has been there is the first Yankees Red Sox game at Fenway this series.
