toasting flutes

FH's brother got us lenox champagne flutes as an engagement gift. I want to use them as toasting fluts for our wedding, but I want them engraved and I am not sure I can get them engraved, or if it will look silly.

I want to use these though, because when we got engaged on vaca, and came home, this gift was waiting for us at our house. it was the first gift we got (besides a bridal magazine lol)
and since they are from his brother, I figured we should use them for the wedding
flutes
these are them... do you think engraving is even possible on these??

I'm not sure if they can be engraved, but they are GORGEOUS!!! Try Things Remembered. I'm looking to have a Jack Daniels bottle engraved so if I find a good engraver I'll let you know.

LOVE THEM - that is the china set FH and i registered for since we got the cake cutting set as a gift.

I think you should be able to get them engraved - maybe on the bottom so the engraving doesnt take away from the design on the glass.

Def try Things Remembered - they are on their game when it comes to engraving.

Things Remembered will engrave them, but i don't know if i would if i had these.
i thnk it might look too busy - just too much.

agreed - they should be able to engrave them for you.

They are very pretty!

Re: toasting flutes

maybe instead of engraving- try etching? It would be a little softer and then not so busy around the base

I LOVE them!

Where do you want them engraved btw? And what do you want them to say?

Re: toasting flutes

probably jus our name and the date. I have normally seen it on the actual glass itelf.. where the liquid goes, but since there is a pattern on it, i might take the advice give above and get it on the base. Never thought of that!

i have those same ones....i got a pair for my first engagemnt party (def not using those ones haha)......and i got 2 from this engagement party, so i have 3 diff pairs, the ones i chose to use for my toasting flutes are lenox and have the silver on the bottom so i can engrave on that one either on the bottom or on the glass since the glass is plain
