technically, you don't really need either. the RH will provide them to you should you not use your own. however, if you do want your own, try things remembered. they have beautiful stuff!

Waterford!!! We got an unexpected gift from FH's aunt and they were gorgeous Waterford toasting flutes

Both aren't necessary, just a matter of whether or not it's something you want We put crystal Waterford toasting flutes on our registry and we unexpectedly got a cake serving set as an engagement present.

My venue provided the serving set - since we did not get it off our registry. But of course as soon as we get home from the honeymoon - we get a wedding gift and it was the matching serving set to our flutes. HELLO people - we needed it for our wedding day - not after.

If you can use your venues set - save the money!!

I didn't really know if they were optional, but now i just deleted it from my registry! I didn't really want them to begin with!
