Today is DRESS SHOPPING DAY

Heading out soon........ it's my first day to go out and try on dresses!!! i am actually kind of nervous hehehehe

08'er crashing to say it really is fun! Enjoy your day and best wishes on finding the gown of your dreams

gotta tell you.. dress shopping is STRESSFUL... went to FAntasia they were lovely there!! but I am very hard to fit (DRESS-WISE) I am short... and thin on the bottom... but I have a very broad bone structure to my shoulders and back... so where I measure a size 8 or 10 in my hips and down there... I measure a 14 or more for my chest/shoulder width. so the sample sizes in sizes 10 and 8... looked great on the bottom.. but didn't zip... or tie correctly.. so it was stressful to see what it would REALLLY LOOK LIKE..
although I did find 3 maggie dresses that I LOVED!!!!! I have style numbers but not names.

couldn't really get pics.. the owner was there today.. the lady tried to let my grandmother sneak one but it came so off centeredyou can't see much of anything.. my mom and I got 1 in the dressing room but they are sooo tiny that you really don't see much of the dress... but I certainly REMEMBER what i look like in them..


One of them that I know the name because I found it online is MAGGIE SOTTERO-OLYMPIA.. i loved the style but It was a bit too plain.. so I went with that style.. the gathered waist.. and then just wanted a bit more WORK on it..... and kept looking.. if i can find the NAMES OF THE DRESSES......i will post the ones i liked alot!

Dont worry I have the same problem bigger on top. Unfortunately they have small sizes for you to try on, WAKE UP people!!! You will find your dress, I promise!!! I cant wait to see the ones you tried on, I'm getting Victoriana by Maggie.

Looks like you had a busy day! I haven't gone shopping yet but I am beginning to think about what kind of dress I might want.

I am so clueless about how they run the stores. I always thought they had sample dresses in nearly every size for every style. I'm sorry what you had to go through. That stinks.

Im happy that you enjoyed yourself, even though the size issue was as source of stress. At least you got to see what styles you like!
