So today is my 28th birthday! Only one more till I am the age I get married at. I feel so old. I always thought by 28 I would be married with 1 if not 2 kids and a house. I guess things worked out the way they did for a reason. Birthdays do lose their appeal as I get older and older though. Not really doing anything special I am still sick and have surgery in 8 days so if I am feeling okay fh and I might go out to dinner tonight. Had my pre-op apt this morning then went off to work so just a typical day. Though my co-workers were so sweet they printed a bunch of birthday posters in my office and gave me a card. Apparently it is like unheard of to work on your birthday....all my friends were like why didn't you take the day off. Is it really that odd to work on your birthday?

Thank you ladies! I know 28 is not bad I just thought my life would be somewhere different and not sure how I feel about 30 right now. See I didn't think it was so odd to be at work on my birthday I usually work but everyone keeps asking me why are you at work? What special plans do you have today? It's Wednesday just going to work like I usually do lol.
