Today is my Birthday and I'm SICK!!!

I just got back from the Bahamas. Guess what! The first morning there, I woke up with a terrible cold! Today is day 3. How long does a cold last? I've been taking Tylenol cold, the non-drowsy type. But, it makes me very woozy...

Oh, did I mention that I took vacation time this week? And, I've been sick for all of it!!!

What a bummer to be sick on your b-day. Drinks lots of water and take your vitamins. You'll start to feel better in no time. Happy b-day!

Happy Birthday and take it easy today! I recommend taking the tylenol cold after eating a decent amount- that medicine makes me woozy too, unless I have a full stomach (which is hard when you have a cold and don't want to eat a thing.)

I had a cold for 2 weeks back in November, but I couldn't take anything for it.

Try chicken soup..protein will help fight it
warm tea to sooth....I like chamomile and then sleepy time tea at bed time

go to a health food store and buy Golden Seal Root capsules...they dry up the excess mucus (grandma advised this years ago and it works)

lots of OJ/vitamin C and WATER...pee that sucker out!
