my brother julien's 13th birthday....

i mean...13....not 11, not 7, not 5....his 13th birthday!

my little man is growing up before my eyes and i'm in utter shock!

i'm picking up cupcakes after work, and b/c he's been studying for the stuyvesant entrance exam (he doesn't want to go anywhere else) - an xbox 360 is promised to him....so i got him a $150 g.c. for best buy - is that okay?

just to show how amazingly sweet this kid is (not sure how he's my brother - ie coming from the SAME parents) - he wasn't expecting any gifts at all....so when i gave him the envelope, he only looked at the card and said thank you....only later realized there was a gift card in it too!
