FH and I have been together 6yrs!!! It's crazy how fast time flies!!!

I started working part-time at my job and I have tuesdays off and FH took the day off for our annivesary..we're actually going into the city to design my engagement ring!! I'm excited and scared!!! I've been putting it off since he proposed in Aug of 06!! lolz...but we finally both have a day off and he said we HAVE to go!! Wish me luck!!

I'm so use to writing 3.4.02 for everything..it's going to be weird to have a diff date after the wedding!

You would think after almost 2yrs I would know exactly what I want..but to be honest I am more confused then ever. I know I want it to taper on the sides..at least I think thats what I want right now lolz..and I def want round stones...I bought 5 pretty much completely diff pics wit me!

Thanks so much for all your wishes and congrats girls!! Sorry I didn't have a chance to come on last nite. We spent close to 2hrs with the jeweler and then we went to get dinner and spent like 2hrs in target (don't ask lolz)

Well..I kinda designed it..I def have a better idea of what I want. Right now I'm thinking 1 center stone with two side stones and then it tappering on the sides with pave set diamonds. But my finger is a size 3 so I'm not sure if I def want the side stones or not. FH likes them though. Anyway, long story short..the jeweler thinks its best to find the center stone first and then build the rest of the ring around it. I wanted the center stone to be a carat and he only had .75 and then others that were much bigger (it was a completely beautiful diamond and it was a VERY VERY good diamond). But I kinda was set on a 1ct center stone only because my mother has that an I am obessed with it. Everything else was over a carat and I really don't want it to be too big....... Even the bigger ones he said he wouldn't want to sell to FH because they are't the best quality. He works in the same business as FH and they talk whenever they have to deal with eachother so he wants to give FH something he would give a friend..he's expecting to get some more in the end of March so thats when we are going to go back. It was so much fun though!! I had like 10 diff diamonds on my hands!! At one point my hand started to shake lolz but I think it was just from holding me hand to straight lolz...

I waited almost 2yrs..whats a few more weeks?? lolz...but I was kinda upset that I didn't get it but I know it smarter to wait!
