I think I was always searching for the wrong girl.. The girl who frankly just didn't give a s--- about me or the person I was. I guess I was out to prove something to her or myself.

My FW actually is so different from this. She actually cares about ME. She asks questions about how my day was, etc. She's very open and honest and challenges me not to accept the status quo but to demand better.

No one ever was like this before to me.

I had never dated Asian before either.

After a while, I got to know him and found him funny with a wicked sense of humor, open minded to radical ideas, great conversationalist, even better listener, not as tame as a thought he was (frat boy, REALLY?) and most importantly I LOVE his eyes.. so soft and perfect (stupid, I know).

I became friends with FH after breaking up with my HS Boyfriend (complete and TOTAL loser). After breaking up with stupidhead, I had made a list of all the qualities I wanted in my next boyfriend. Adam fit all but one (and that one was rather unimportant - I was 19, after all). I didn't realize how perfect he was until about 2 months before we started dating.

Then I pined for 2 months before I finally got up the courage to tell him how I felt. I'm glad I did.

We started out as good friends, I was dating someone else at the time.
