We actually stayed away from High Def. (i dont know anything about the videogropher you are using).

My husband and I are real techies and loked into all the pro's and con's on equipment, lights, etc.

We decided against High def since it requires brighter lights. We wanted the lowest light that could be used so we didnt have lights in our face all night.
