I just booked my honeymoon with tom the travel agent. He was easy to work with, showed us a great place in st. lucia and was very quick in getting back to us with all details. He works with any budget and is really nice. i definately reccomend him to anyone looking for an agent.
i've emailed him 3 times and he hasnt gotten back to me . grrrr

Re: tom the travel agent
He was at a conference last weekend. I called about 2 weeks ago. He got back to me very quickly and found some really nice things for FH and I. Then he told me to look at the hotel website, to decide which hotel we wanted to stay at in Bermuda. When I looked at the hotel, I decided to check the room rates online myself and the total package I found myself was cheaper than the price he gave me!! I wrote him back to ask about it and see if there were any charges I was missing and I haven't heard back from him since!
Sooo....he is fast to get back to you and very nice and easy to speak with, but my only problem is that I don't understand why he would charge more than what I was able to find (unless it was his own fee, but most people i've spoken to said he doesn't charge anything) and also why he was so unprofessional that he didn't even get back to me to tell me either way what the deal was.
Just wanted everyone to know, not to totally turn you off!

Re: tom the travel agent
I got in contact with him to get a 'second opinion' quote if you will. I was very honest and shared my original quote with him...he asked if I had made a deposit, and said yes but if he quoted me a better price...I would book with him instead.(i purchased insurance that insured me to get all my deposit back, and it wasn't expensive) As soon as I told him that he didn't even want to quote me anything...he said i should stay with the original agent and then insisted he was late for a meeting (this was all via gmail Instant messaging, and he initiated the conversation) IDK, i was a little confused as to why he didn't even want to quote me anything when i was ready and willing to give him my business. Oh wells, maybe he couldn't do better? IDK, but that was that, and he never got back to me again.
