Has anyone used or will be using Tommy's Tunes for DJ? I'm thinking of booking an appointment to see them and need some feedback.
check out the showcases, they showcase all the time-esp. at East Wind because they are house there.
Actually I did see them at the Villa Lombardi showcase this past Wednesday and they were very good but I wanted to get another opinion because they only give a brief demonstration. I know they give you a list of their 'packages' but do you know if they're willing to work with that in case you don't want some things and want others?

We have Joe E. as our MC and have heard wonderful things about him and the rest of the crew.
We used them for our wedding on March 30 at Flowerfiled. We had Joe E. He was awesome, professional, and my dance floor was packed all night!
We met with them and they were great.. Just a little too pricey for our budget. Friend of ours used them and everyone was Great!!!!
I haven't booked an appointment with them yet. What I keep hearing is this: Pros - they are excellent, keep the dance floor packed, very professional. Cons - they tell you what emcee/DJ you will be getting and they change at the last minute and they are very expensive. I got there price list/package list last week and I think I want the package that is like $4,150.00. I really didn't want to spend that much money but I thought I could negotiate because that price includes 5 hours of music (and I only need 4) and it includes a live percussionist (which I don't think I want). Will they negotiate or are the packages set in stone? Also, if I meet with someone that I like for an Emcee, would they be willing to add that person's name to my contract or not (like I said I've heard from other girls that they have a tendency of changing your DJ/emcee). Thanks for the info.
We used them for our wedding last Saturday. Absolutly wonderful! The dance floor was never empty. We had vinny as our dj and kevin as mc. I would definitley use them. We also booked Gene Santini through them to sing at our cocktail hour. He does frank sinatra/tony bennett type music and he really was terrific. He got the crowd in the party mood and warmed them up for the wedding. all in all the music was perfect all night.
