I have an appointment this Saturday with the DJ company Tommy's Tunes. Did you use them/are you using them for your wedding? Any advice about questions to ask or DJs to request? I think we're going to opt for the most basic (just 1 DJ/MC) package. Thanks!
We actually booked them for our wedding. We requested Frank for the MC b/c he seems like he'd fit in perfectly with my family. I'd recommend being upfront with them re: how much you're looking to spend and what exactly you are looking for b/c they seemed to work with me on prices when I did that. I had seen other DJ's and gotten other prices on packages and discussed the prices with Frank when I went for my appt.
I went to a wedding recently that Tommy Tunes did- I think the MC was Joe and he did a good job. They played some great music- my only problem with them was that the DJ would play about 1/2 of a song and then mix into another one. I didn't really like it, because I felt like just when we were really getting into a song on the dance floor, it would suddenly change. I like hearing the entire song, but that is just my opinion. Other than that, they were great.
I booked them and requested Joe E. He's very personable and funny. They totally work with you as far as budget.
