I am leaning towards booking with Tommy's Tunes but Frankie and Joe E, the 2 mcs I hear the most about, aren't available on our day. I think that Joe C. is one of the available mcs. Has anyone heard or is having him or any other MC aside from Frankie or Joe E? TIA :)

Re: Tommy's Tunes MC - recommendation?
I can call Mike and ask him if you want, he's our good friend who is their percussionist. I'm sure he will tell me who to use and who not to. When we were looking at RH and DJ and all of that he told us EVERYTHING. He helped Phil start up After Hours and now he does Tommy Tunes so he's been everywhere and is SO helpful.
Like we were looking at one place that I disliked but it was FH's top choice for a while and he said 'I wouldn't even eat out of their kitchen.' And we consulted him on a lot.
I'm sure he has played with all of the DJs even though he prefers just to do percussion and not dj anymore now that he has a family.

Re: Tommy's Tunes MC - recommendation?
I am using Dan, and we liked him because he seemed more low key. Not the type to be grabbing grandma out of her chair and annoying people. Don't confuse that with not being good, we saw his demo dvd and were pleased because he had a great balance between getting in to it and not being overbearing. Nice guy too.

We chose Dan as well because we were very comfortable with him when we met him. We hit it off with him instantly and he understood and was open to everything we wanted.

Re: Tommy's Tunes MC - recommendation?
I always knew I wanted Tommy's Tunes at my wedding when the time came..I saw them at a wedding 5 years ago & their presence was amazing & they just get everyone going!..We met Dan at the Showcase we went to recently & he was so nice & didn't rush us. We set up an appointment that night with him after seeing them all perform for the following week. The night of the appt. we stayed there for over almost 2 hours with him & he answered all of our questions & without a problem. He just made us feel so comfortable like we've known him forever that I really didn't want anyone else..& because our wedding is so far away & a Thursday night we could really have whomever we wanted! But we wanted him..So I vote for DAN as well!!

OK so I guess I asked for no reason now because only one mc was left - Joe C. So we booked with him. I wish I could have seen a video of him in action but I know how good of a company Tommy's Tunes is so I'm confident all of their djs and mcs are good. Thanks so much for all of your help!
