I don't want to go to work because I'm gonna be stuck in the office by myself for 3 hrs while my co-worker is in a 3 hr lunch meeting.....

The actual day of my birthday has been overshadowed by something or another every year, so I instituted that birthdays are month long events. So every March I celebrate my b-day for 30 days. I pick the day I start and stop. I get to enjoy it much more!! Give it a try.

I actually do like my coworker. We work very well together and get along great. I try to tell my DH I'm not having a b-day every year so why I really care if I'm here I don't know.
