Tomorrow is our 1 yr anniversary...

Tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary, BUT, he is in Wisconsin with the Army until the 27th. I don't get to celebrate with him

He doesn't even have the ability to call, they have no cell coverage where they are. This $uck$.

Just had to get that off my chest. Thanks.

Hang in there sweetie! Just think you have your whole lives to spend together! FH's brother was not with his fiance on their 1 year dating anniversary either (she lives in Sweden) and FH and I took him out to celebrate! Maybe go out with family or some girl friends to celebrate! I know it is not the same, but it may help to cheer you up a bit! And when he gets home, plan a special night for just the two of you to celebrate your anniversary. Even if it is not the exact day, celebrate your love for each other!

I feel for you hun....one of m brothers is in the army and he was in Iraq for his and my sis in laws first wedding anniversary....she called my that day because she couldn't talk to him and said I was the next best thing

I think I was definately a poor substitute but if it helped her that's all that mattered to me. You'll get through this and remember that although it's the date you pledged your love to eachother it's the love part that matters not the date part.
