I'm going for the first time to try on dresses tomorrow. Any advice that I should keep in mind? Thanks everybody!!

definitely, definitely stay open-minded. what looks bad on the hanger may look amazing on you!! also - if you can, try to wear your hair similiar to your wedding day style. if you're going to wear your hair up - bring a scrunchie or something to do a quick tie-up.

dont laugh...when I went for my dress there was some woman trying on dresses with out anything on under her dress...I guess she was going for the 'natural' look!!

i agree with keep and open mind. try on every different style. and if possible don't look solely on price. maybe you can save somewhere else if the dress you love is more than you wanted to spend. also don't forget high heels and a strapless bra :)

Make sure you try to write down the style #'s so that you can find pictures online so that you can remember what the dresses look like. Also don't feel like you have to put a deposit down that minute.

Try on EVERYTHING..Even things you don't think you would like.
do you have a price range??? don't let the shop bully you into trying something on not in your price range...

Good advice from above. Something you think is hideous might look great on you. It's hard to tell on a hanger. Def. bring something to put your hair up. And bring a camera- you might be able to sneak a picture in when the person leaves the room! hehe

I agree keep an open mind. You never know. It might be 'the one'. Also, bring a notebook and write down the designer's name and style no. and maybe write a little description (some stores change the style nos. around ).
