Ok so the other day I posted I was going dress shopping this weekend.
We went to David's Bridal and Bridal Suite in Centereach. It was fun, my aunt, mom, FSIL, her sister and grandmother all were their.
I tired on a few dresses and have a general idea on the style i'm looking for. I'm looking forward to more dress shopping to find the 'ONE'
BUT... OMG?! I'm getting married in August, 2011. The dresses usually have 16wk lead time but the dress i'm loving ONLY has a 12 week lead time. THEN it takes 4-6 months for alternations?! SO BASICALLY i have to order my dress by NEXT MONTH to assure i'll have it for August?! I knew it took a few months but really? Def NOW have to get motivated and dress shop ever weekend. *ugh
Does the timing sound right? 12-16 weeks to order and another 4-6 months for alternations?
