We're taking through Town of Hempstead - you're in a group of people, but they're all either getting married soon or they are like 60! Its such a reassuring thing to watch 2 60 year olds hobble in and then dance together. Especially in this world of divorce and 55 minute marriages. Plus, you can't beat the price - about $100 for the two of you for 10 weeks one night a week (usually Mondays or Wednesdays depending on the instructor). I told 2 brides to be, and 1 groom to be that I work with about it and i believe they all signed up!

we are planning on taking dance lessons, and having our first dance choreogaphed..where are you taking lessons?
We live in Brooklyn and are taking the lesson in Staten Island at Fred Astare Studios they have them all over.. We got a free lesson with a coupon they have on the website.

CONGRATS tell us how it went.. i want to do this but he doesn't.....
Omg we had so much fun!! We booked for 5 lessons (5 weeks) were going to coreograph our second dance 'it had to be you' we learned some steps tonight and came home and practiced alittle!! FH is totally into this!
Thank goodness Ive always wanted to take dance lessons!!

We are taking lessons too! And at HIS suggestion! (He can't dance, and doesn't want to look stupid!) How much does it cost? I want a weird song for our first dance, that would liekly need to be choreographed, what does that cost? I have no clue. TIA!

We're just doing two lessons at Fred Astaire Studios in Manhattan...next week...I can't wait!! This reminds me, I need to go buy the CD of our wedding song.
