I had my RD on Sat night so Tonka was outside since it was so nice out playing with the kids and then Sunday was even nicer so I let her stay out all day again. Well Sun nite I see her limping a bit. So the first thing out of my mouth was Oh i am going to make her an appt with the vet tomorrow. Well my FH says you overreact with her, she will be fine give it a day. So i say OK fine. (even though i know i never overreact bc everytime i take her there is a reason) Well I went shopping after work on Mon and get a call from FH saying Tonk is leaning on me to stand and her back leg is really swollen and she is in pain. So i rush home and my little baby was already downstairs in bed. That NEVER happens. She will wait by the door until I come home no matter what time it is. SO i knew she was in pain. SO i called first thing this morning and was able to get an appt and when I went they said she sprained it. I feel bad for her cause now she has to take icky meds! On teh plus side I changed my last name with them and my wedding present from DR Convover (he is the best) was a free office visit! And one of the ladys said TOnka was gorgeous and should be a model dog. I said she took after me!

Tonka says thank you to everyone for the hugs! She is feeling a little better today and is walking a bit better. Hopefully tomorrow she will feel A LOT better! Altough I don't know about the meds she is on. She peed twice yesterday , once on the couch! I dont know why she did that! She has never had an accident even when she was a pup and then again in her house! So now I am watching her more carefully to make certain she doesnt have another accident.

She is doing much better! Thank you for asking! She still needs to take it easy so she doesn't aggrivate it again but I havent figured out how I am gonna do that. She bounces around like a jack rabbit over there lol
