too dark??

too dark??

Is a berry color too dark for a summer daytime wedding? I love the color and was planning to pair it with ivory and silver (maybe a yellow) to brighten it up. But I keep hearing how a teal color is more for summer and the berry is more for the fall.

What do you think???

I'd have to see it to make an informed decision lol

I chose the color Sangria and I'm getting married in May, but i'm not sure if yours would be darker.

Honestly though, if you love the color, I say go for it.

Babe, if you love the color, then don't worry about it. No one follows those rules anyway..

Plus, you can always choose the color and find it in a lighter shade if you're really concerned. That way it'll still be in the same family.

Berry or Eggplant? That pictures looks more like an Eggplant color than dark berries...

I don't think its too dark (I mean I'm having pink in November, so I'm from the school that says DO WHAT YOU WANT, ITS YOUR WEDDING lol)...I also think that with lots of light colored accessories like the ivory (I think yellow would be beautiful too) it will bring out the brightness in the color and even give it a tropical vibe, IMO.

I say if you like the color use it. I'm sort of having a winter wedding (March) and everyone tried to talk me out of using pink because they said that's a summer color...but I love it so I'm using it!

Crashing - do what YOU want. I'm having a June wedding and my BM's are wearing a color called Berry. It's a dark red. My wedding colors are dark red, black, and silver. Those are SO not spring/summer colors, but I really don't care. Those are MY favorite colors.
