Too early?

Is it too early yet to get EVERYTHING done for a 7/09 wedding?!?! What have ya'll gotten done so far?!?! I need a checklist or sumthin..lol

I am booking the hall in May. Other than that, I'm really not booking anything else. I am however checking out the bridal expos and getting ideas on photopgraphers, flowers, etc. I feel like it's still early for all those other things but I could be wrong.

Oops...I just saw it on your information. How cool, we might be getting married on the same day! I'm not sure if we are getting married on the 18th or the 17th.

We are getting married in March of 09. All that we have booked is the RH and Church. Everything else we are waiting until the end of summer to worry about.

Plus we have a couple weddings coming up and we might see a vendor we like and change our minds.

I wouldn't book everything now...i dont know how much you've been searching for vendors but take your time, look at reviews...alot of times people jump on the first one they like and then after seeing a vendor someone else is using and their work you will wonder why you didnt wait a little bit. Plus you have time so it will be ok.

Booking the Rh now would be good. The vendors maybe close to end of summer or end of the year

I booked my reception hall for May 2009....next is the church - I don't know if I did that backward should I have booked the church first?

Other than that just looking around for now I still have tons of time.

I personally think the earlier the better. My girlfriend was finished planning a year before her date. She just sat back and relaxed!!

I am an '08 girl sneaking onto the '09 board. My wedding is November 2008 and I am practically done planning. The only thing I have left to do are flowers and limos!

It's never too early! We are booking our RH really soon and then we are going to do the church. I have been looking and comparing vendors. I want to get as much done as I can so I'm not stressing or rushing around when the date gets close. I think the only thing I might wait on to do is look for my dress, I'm afraid if I get it now I won't like it in two years!

Hi!

Its never too early! I thought i was doing things too early until i started looking at RH and they were already booked! And the photographer had 3 weddings already booked! It is a holiday weekend, so i guess its acceptable, but still?

I probably wont do anything else for a while thought....Church, RH, and photographer are done. I'm taking a breather until the semester is over!

its never too early. start doing your research. narrow down your choices. Start working on ur E party. Don't worry you've got so much time!
