too early?

soo im getting married in October, soo i will probably send out invites out in August. Im having the invites made by a vendor. I love them!! she is also doing the addresses on the envelopes for me and is asking me for my address list.. i feel nervous about doing them so early-- what if people move? or I want to add or remove guests?

How many people are you inviting? I would say the # of addresses that stay the same would make it worth the risk of having to re-do a few envelopes if people move.
Maybe you can order a dozen or so with no address for the ones that might be added / changed, and a few extra envelopes on top of that.

Remember, even though you will know some are different, people really only see the invite that was sent to them.

If you are sending them in August for an October wedding thats only 2 months... this is totally normal. I would not send them out any later than 2 months, you still need time for RSVP etc.. I am sending mine out probably 8-10 weeks prior to the wedding. I want my RSVP to be 1 month before so I can order favors and CPs etc...

I wouldnt do the addresses yet! I had a bunch of people breakup, move etc lol

wow im getting married 2 weeks before you and my invitation place told us to have the rsvp date around the end of august like august 25th, now im kinda second guessing that but i dunno they are the professionals so i think they would know best but now im just totally confused

yeah i plan on sending them out august first with the RSVP date sept 1
