It might be a little early only because you might not know how many bags you're gonna make....then do you really want allllllll that stuff hanging around your place. I know that I'm about 2 months out from our weddin and one of my spare rooms doesn't seem to have a bed or floor anymore because of all the wedding stuff!

IMO, I would wait a little while...besides you don't want to buy all that stuff and have tons left over!!

i know it will take up some space, but i did all the small stuff that i could before the wedding as far in advance as i could so i wouldn't have to worry about it the closer that i got. i would buy the stuff but not make the bags yet

I would wait! So items are fresh and I, personally, dont have the room to store ANYTHING !

I'd do it! Get it out of the way. Most of that stuff are things you'd be able to use anyway if there's any leftover!

This! I would just buy everything that you need but not put them all together until its closer to the wedding.

We waited until after we got the final count from the hotel (1 month before) to order everything. We didn't want to order too much/too little.

Never too early. I started last summer! We knew we would need about 50 bags, so I just started buying things as they went on sale.

We're the day after you, and I am ordering the stuff from Oriental Trading this week... Basically I want to get as much done in advance as possible, I 'm waiting to do the Costco run, until we are closer to the date, & I'm waiting to assemble them til we get closer.

i've been thinking about buying the bags for the OOT guests/making the little stickers to put on the bag, but not buying the food & stuff to put in it....i'd rather wait til closer so that everything's fresh

Great Minds think alike I'm sure, I'll be worried with seating charts, and packing for the (I love to travel, but am the worst packer) SO if I can ge these things done now, I'd prefer it... What's the difference if the bags, and candles are stored in our basement, or Oriental Trading's warehouse...
