My wedding is April 18. I want to mail out my invites this week, which is about 10-11 weeks before. We don't have a B-list or a ton of OOT guests, I just don't want to look at them anymore! Oh, and we didn't send out save the dates. Is this week too soon?

Re: Too early to mail invites?
If you have some OOT guests you can send them this week that way they can arrange their trip

Re: Too early to mail invites?
if you don't mind them coming in at a slower rate then go ahead, its up to you really. But just know that the longer ppl have to rsvp they will wait to do it.

Re: Too early to mail invites?
I'm mailing mine out 10 weeks prior to the wedding date, however, we are close with our invites (small wedding) so they'll hear it from us if they don't respond by the RSVP We just have a bunch of people we are inviting from Europe and want to possibly send to B listers if we can.

Re: Too early to mail invites?
I had a couple of people suggest that I send my invites out in late March instead of waiting until late April to do it. . .we both have a lot of OOT guests, and since it's an early summer wedding, we can 'lock' people into the date NOW.

Re: Too early to mail invites?
the longer you give them to send back the rsvps, the less you're prob going to end up getting back bc people forget/lose them etc
im doing mine as close to the rsvp date as possible... like i dont even want to give them a full month... i dont think its necessary to make up your mind lol

Re: Too early to mail invites?
I think its okay to send them a little early. Better early than late, right? It'll give people more time to respond also.
